As part of its efforts to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, a Christian community in Yobe state north eastern part of Nigeria has converged to hold a prayer session for the release of Leah Sharibu who has been in captivity of the insurgents for more than a month now.
The leaders of the prayer sessions applauded the frantic efforts of the Federal Government in seeing to the release of other schoolgirls but urged the government to intensify effort to reunite Leah with her family, Christian community and the society at large.
The Christian leaders also used the medium to debunked the social media reports that Leah Sharibu has been released all along.
