In light of the ongoing wedding dress scandal involving Mercy Aigbe, and fashion designer, Maryam Elisha, we list five things wedding vendors need to get right in 2018.

1. Prompt delivery

Delayed delivery is one major issue that brides and planners have had to deal with for so long.

In 2018, vendors need to do better. Stylists like the accused Maryam Elisha who promise to deliver fabrics and clothes, photographers who promise to deliver pre-wedding photos, bakers who say they’ll come through with cake samplings etc… need to get it right in 2018 and deliver at the agreed date and time.

2. Timely arrival

Ever wondered why Nigerian weddings never stick to time? Apart from the obvious time wasting and late arrival of guests, lateness of vendors who are meant to put things in place is also a problem.

They need to get it right in 2018.

3. Accurate delivery

Apart from delivering on time, delivery also needs to be made as agreed. Accurate quantity and volume of content as agreed with the couple.

Of course this is the part where many fail the most. Loads of vendors get it right but even more need to do better.
