Adamawa SSG supports herdsmen carrying guns

The Secretary to the Adamawa State government, Umar Bindri has voiced his support for herdsmen carrying sophisticated arms wherever they go.

Speaking at a news conference in Yola, Bindri said both the herdsmen and farmers who regularly clash need to be protected.

But he added that with the security situation in Nigeria, the nomadic Fulani herdsmen need to go about with weapons for self defense.
